Aleksandar Dimitrijevic (2013) is an installation on the gallery wall, dimensions 400x400cm, made from my scribbled signature that after a few repetitions converted into an abstract drawing. Made In Serbia - Not For Human Consumption (2013) is a work that emerged from the previous one. At the end of the exhibition I scraped the painting off the wall and packed, weighed, numbered and labeled it into a series of four jars. The work addresses the irony of art as a commodity. |
