Statement:
I am a self-taught painter and paint from my home. I don't normally have a plan. The paintings seem to grow themselves out of the act of applying mediums, paint and experimenting with different colours. It's the act of creating that inspires me. I'm also very inspired by nature. Often I'll scrape off and re-apply paint until I'm satisfied that the painting has arrived at it's destination. Although sometimes I feel that a painting never really arrives.
