Statement:
Sheri Gee is a British figurative painter, concentrating on life painting and portraiture. Portraiture commissions accepted.

Vita / Lebenslauf:
Born 1975 in Surrey, England. Sheri trained at the University for the Creative Arts, Maidstone, Kent gaining a 1st class degree specialising in Illustration. Sheri has worked as a freelance illustrator, book designer and in book production for over a decade.

Since 2001 Sheri has been concentrating on a return to observational drawing & painting, experimenting with colour, mark & paint. Sheri has a passion for painting people, relishing the challenge to get an accurate likeness whilst trying to keep her brush marks lively & colourful. The collection of work shown here represents that passion & energy.

Sheri has exhibited several times in group & solo shows, in South East England.
