I came to the United States in 1993 from Beijing, China where I was born and started taking painting classes in grade, middle and high school. I graduated with an art degree from The Art and Science School-Branch Campus of Beijing University in 1983. Then I was a book editor until came to the U.S.
I went to Queens College to learn English for three years. Before could started my painting career I got hurt from a car accident which changed my life forever, I went through a lot of treatment and got much better, but still have pain & weakness in my left side, and pain in my neck back ......
I really started painting from 2000, first with acrylic for about a year, then I changed to oil color, I have been doing oil paintings since. I love painting, it means a lot for me. I had exhibits on Nassau County,New York from 2005-2011.
In 2012 my husband and I moved to Florida, my husband had a large tumor removed from his brain and skeleton, after the surgery he also got a stroke during medical induced coma, that changed our lives forever again, I have been a caregiver for my husband since .........
