About my work: I specialize in Oil painting and creating mixed media drawings. My work is a rich combinations of collected Art History and personal pictures, magazines, the www, movies (stills), academic art, commercial images, illustration, street-art, etc.
Employing aesthetic interaction in order to give an account of a method whereby the artist and the viewer's sharing of each other's horizon of understanding can be used as a factor in the revelation of truth.
As alternative to modern and post-modern autonomy in the visual arts, my work focuses on an interactive relation as point of departure that offers a suitable optional method of interpreting truth. The productive aesthetical participation of viewers involves critical consideration and revelation of unforeseen possible truths, as well as the ability to improvise with scant data, enabling them to transform their established perceptions of truth.
Apart from the important influence on the visual arts, it also has an important influence on visual communication in the broader sense. An aesthetical participation approach incorporates ideological criticism and offers mankind diverse visual viewpoints, contradictions and many-faceted alternative truths to enable the development of self-understanding on the basis of moral understanding of the viewpoints of others.
