Born Georgetown, Guyana 1944. Artistic education Edinburgh, Scotland (MA Hons Fine Art) 1963-1968. Resident in Sweden since 1971. Exhibitions, public commissions, private commissions both in Sweden and other countries, including Rostock 1988, Lithuania 2001, Barcelona. Work in several media, oils, printmaking and 3-D. Book cover illustrations for Swedish author Bo Gustavsson, 2015 - 2021. Exhibitions in Uppsala,Sweden, latest Oct-Nov 2020.
Aktivitäten / Ausstellungen:
2010: PowerPoint show with sound and music \'Survival-whose terms?\'. About the original peoples of South America in danger of extinction because of the invasion of their lands. Pictures coupled with my work based on their legends and their music. Premier shown October 2010.
2014: Exhibition in collaboration with Swedish Agricultural University 'Mer än Karljohan' about the underground life of fungi. Shown also in Koster, Sweden and Siljansnäs, Sweden during 2015. To be shown summer 2016 at Trolska skogen, Sweden. 2014: Exhibition in collaboration with Swedish authors on 'The Art of Peace' (Peace Year 2014). 'My' author asked me to do the cover for his coming book Nemesis nu, completed 2015 and published Jan 2016. Book covers after that see pictures.
