Vita / Lebenslauf:
Paul Edelstein has been painting since age 5, and then again painting seriously since age 15. Inspired by the late Betty Parsons of New York, Paul had an early meeting with the infamous art dealer. In the fall of 1981 Paul was scheduled to have an Exhibit at The Betty Parsons Gallery, but Miss Parsons died in July of 1982.
Mr. Edelstein was continue to meet many famous teachers, artists and writers, such as Alice Neel (1980), Agnes Martin (1990), Author Willie Morris (pictured above with Artist Paul Edelstein), Keith Haring (1980), Nancy Graves (1984), Ida Applebroog, Nell Blaine, Eudora Welty (1979), Mark Kostabi, William Eggleston, and many others.
Paul has had a one man exhibition at The Meridian Museum of Art, Meridian, Mississippi (1979).
