Vita / Lebenslauf:
PaperArt is an art project established by Birgitte Hansen in 2012. The project contains several series of art work in a Nordic style with clean lines and clear form, as known from other Scandinavian art. The motives are often inspired by modern architecture and sculptures.
The works are investigative constructivist primarily with printing techniques such as screen printing, paper collage and giclée - digital print. Balance and calm are crucial to the final expression, where the work with motives and background is defined through light and form.
