Joseph Contello
Photographer since 1969,
Visual Artist, using Photography, Video, Graphics Design,
and Computer Animation since 1975.
Since 2004, working on “Digitally Painting” my Photographs.
This process allows me to interpret my photographs in many different styles.
The unique properties of this technique allow me to express and visualize the “callings” of each photograph.
Today Abstract Painting, tomorrow, Sketch & Charcoal, next week, Chalk and Watercolor, whichever way the photo calls out to me.
Using the computer allows me to be more productive, and generate work at a pace that fits my nature.
Never one to walk a path previously traveled,
Navigating the way through new methods,
to achieve my vision of life as
I feel it.. See it.. Touch it.
and It Touches me.
