born in santiago,chile aug.4th,1955.resident in quito ecuador since jan.1973.
my work is basicly inspired by human figure and nature. dont like to be labeled, though
it could be classified as realistic.
part of my collection has a strong influence of lempicka, as in forms, poses and cubist
shades, but applying my personal imprint of color management, light, trace, clean and
depurated stroke, and giving them a more contemporary character with a message
of joy, harmony and beauty. Among my favorite artists : Da Vinci, Boticelli, as well as
dutch and german renacentists, realistic portrait xv-xii…Durer, Vermeer, Van Eyck, as
well as Van Gogh, De Lempicka, Dufy, O’Keefe, Kandinsky, Mondrian, Picasso, Braque,
Kahlo.
