I'm not a follower of a single art movement, but I feel close to geometric abstraction, and this fact reflects throughout my work. The closest to it is jewellery, which greatly influences my other works. The precision work needed for jewellery making, where everything must be precisely thought out and planned ahead (mainly because jewels may not restrict their wearers) contrasts with my painting and graphics, where I can experiment. Graphics is a spontaneous activity that has no limits and is influenced by the feeling of creation itself. Painting is rather more specific; here, I choose the colour ahead and then intentionally create contrasts. I work mostly with a palette knife, and I enjoy working with the overall picture relief.
I am certainly influenced by the 60s of Czech painting, which I like pretty much, as well as industrialization, which I regularly seek.
