Vita / Lebenslauf:
He founded and published the first global catalogue for creative holography, while teaching at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, and organised the International Symposium for Art Holography, which took place at the University of Nottingham.
He has written extensively on the subject of creative holography for art and science journals including Leonardo, SPIE and Art Monthly.
Apart from his own work in the visual arts, he has been director of the Shearwater Foundation Holography Programme and the International Holography Fund, both organisations having been set up to help finance international projects in creative holography.
He has contributed professional practice seminars to a number of arts based university courses with an emphasis on how artists can promote themselves, and work, online.
Currently his digital One Million Points Of Light Project is exploring anonymous advertising, basic collaboration and acting as a source of data for a three-dimensional hologram installation.
