From the ice-blue of Scandinavia to the vibrant colours of Tuscany...
My strong interest in working with paint and colours began in early childhood and is now practised late in life. For me, painting is a way
of communicating feelings, moods and impressions of the world.
A strong source of inspiration comes from the interaction of light and colour, resulting in paintings in gentle, Scandinavian shades and the warm,
vibrant colours of Tuscany and Provence.
Using many different techniques and layers of colour, the abstract, expressionistic
land- and seascapes I create, show my love of colour, texture and shape.
Favourite themes are:
Nature vs Civilisation, Land- & Seascapes, Flowers.
It is my hope that my paintings act as a storyteller about the world we live in.
