Stil: Gegenständlich
Statement:
I see art from a number of viewpoints. Sure, it has to be visually pleasing, well mostly perhaps, but it must above all else speak to you. The conversation will be different for everyone viewing the artwork, but as an artist there is the initial conversation that starts the process. The artist may just be recording what happened that day, a thought he/she had, an image that captivated, or the artist may seek to make a statement, send out a message, make a protest. THERE ARE NO RULES. Well none other than that the viewer will hopefully experience some emotion on viewing the artwork. I hope you enjoy the paintings.
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Stephen (Steve; SK) Brown is an Australian painter, with particular interest in Australian landscape, urban/industrial images, Australian aboriginal art, and (any) art that conveys a message. He works primarily in acrylics, occasionally in oils, but has a strong interest in novel materials that build bulk and 3D into paintings.
Aktivitäten / Ausstellungen:
Participates in art societies in Melbourne and local art exhibitions. Paints part-time on a largely non-commercial basis.
