Prior to becoming a painter he was a professional pilot and airship-captain.
From his earliest years he was always interested in painting and drawing pictures, always searching for the use of right colors and different styles.
Having lived in large cities throughout his life has inspired his art work.
Karrass is living in Berlin and New York.
