Liset van Dommelen studied dramatic arts and silkscreen printing.
I developed my work in an own style, were theatre, design and my pictures and video's play a big role.
In the work 365 moments me and my partner captured the moment of each day from 1999 till 2000.
In the serie Rabbits telling stories I make a visual family story based on my memories.I also make the concept on request to tell some one else's story.
At this moment I work on the concept Let's play art a woodblock serie for adults to play with. And researches the concept embroider in public space and media silence.
In 2009 I'am is going to do a still live photo project, making a still live picture every week.
In the year of media silence I became fascinated with silence and the still lives I create in and around my home or the places were I stay.
They are little memories of the silence I like so much, and inspire my work.
Aktivitäten / Ausstellungen:
Liset is a member of the Haagse Kunst Kring in the Hague.
You can find my work in many different places from the Dutch house of parliament till a print on a T-shirt.
Mostly projects are shown or have previeuws in my atelier and you can visit the place on appointment. Or look through te window cause the place is an old store along one of the canals in the centre of Delft
