Statement:
I paint Expressionist faces and figures in a bold and colorful style. I feel like a witness living in a dystopian society. Though largely self-taught, I studied at the Art Students League in New York City during the late 1990s. I also hold a Ph.D. in American social history and publish articles in scholarly journals. Recently, I am a published poet. My art allows me to get into a place that can not be easily explained. It is an adventure, throwing pie to the sky.

Vita / Lebenslauf:
I have exhibited in groups shows since 1994. My only solo show was at the Limner Gallery in New York City.

My art is featured in the books, "New Art International 1996"; "New Art International 2008"; and the "New York City Project 2009."
