Vita / Lebenslauf:
Born in Derby, England, I still enjoy painting the landscapes of the Peak District and the Lakes- also the Scottish and Irish coastlines.
I studied at King`s College Cambridge, The Guildhall,London and the Hochschule der Künste Berlin and work as a musician in Germany Holland and Japan--these countries also feature in my paintings, which are sometimes painted on location and sometimes developed in the studio from sketches and fotos.
I have exhibited in Germany,and England and my paintings hang in many private collections.
I am interested in the English landscape tradition and Japanese art-at present I am working on a book combining Japanese calligraphy and landscape paintings.
