Statement:
This series of paintings is inspired by video shot through car and train windows.
The paintings are produced in pairs. In the first the the landscape is just a series of passing streaks; in the second I am attempting to depict a sense of partial focus, a hint of the landscape we are leaving behind.
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Caroline Hall worked as a reporter and presenter for BBC Television for 15 years before completing a Masters degree in Painting. In 2008 she was a named finalist in the Chelsea (New York) International Fine Art Competition, and this Spring her pixel paintings were selected in the Alpan International (Long Island). She is a selected artist with the leading promoters of emerging artists in London, degreeArt.com, and held her first solo exhibition in London last November. Since then she has exhibited installations and paintings throughout the UK.
