Janus is a Roman god of beginnings and transitions, thence also of passing and time. He was usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the future and to the past. My artwork is also a work of transition, a bifrons painting which finally became an installation. Probably BIFRONS PAINTING is a new concept for the history of art, I never found it within the studies of major art experts or on the net.
